Stimmt nicht! Man muss die Arbeitszeit mit einrechnen die man benötigt um die Fahrtkosten zu bezahlen. So gesehen ist für die meisten Fahrer der Bus oder das Klapprad die schnellste Fortbewegungsmethode.

In the end you will have to maintain any car, so there is that. For a Smart spare parts are relatively cheap, if you learn how to fix the car yourself, you can save some money. For me, the Roadster has been cheap to maintain for the last years. But with such mileages, you can be lucky - or not ;)

@@FastNumber27 there is another one with 11.000 km but it's the one with 61hp so I don't know which one to go for... I am really interested in tinkering with it myself when something goes wrong and a part has to be replaced, I believe it is not super complicated if I research online right?

@@erkam116 I'm a little late, but I own the 61hp version. It's surely not as quick as the Brabus one but i personally find it very quick especially in corners. I recommend the 61hp variant without doubts. And you can always chip tune it to 75-85hp for 400$ if you need more power.

You're absolutely right. Even though the chassis is so capable, the drivetrain makes it more of a 7 10ths car not very suitable for wide racetracks.

I disassembled the bottom bracket and put grase in it, that stopped it. You need special tools though. You definitly need some mechanical understanding.

@@FastNumber27 Awesome, fair play. I haven't got a clue how to build a bike nor do I have any specialist tools. Would I need more then a hex & Allen key set? How are you enjoying it otherwise? Cheers

James Allan yes you need a special socket to tighten the bottom bracket. The bike is fine. It is okay for the reduced price backers paid. It has power, range is as advertised. Brakes are rubbish. The bowden cables are one piece front to rear, which causes especially the rear brake to have no clear touch point of the brakes. You can pull the lever all the way through to the handlebar, while the touch point is after ~5mm of brake lever pull, if that makes sense. Very mushy feeling, not safe. Level 5 sets in very harsh and is very powerful. In contrast, level 1 is still quick, too quick for slow speed situations with pedestrians around. If I hadn’t ridden it already 200km, I‘d consider selling it and go for a used Van Moof.

Since the fake ticker (only 2 bikes left, one bike left then manically 8 bikes left) the constant & deliberate miss information, I was told June first, then July, then August or September and now October. I would have to be insane to believe them in regard to October. Such underhand tactics, a quality product wouldn't need sales gimmicks. Discs are broken or bent, the noise you are experiencing seems common on reddit & dangerous too. Seat, peddles & brake levers are cheapest going apparently. They charged me £45 for a throttle but are £13 online elsewhere. Ive heard several bike people struggle to install lights & brakes. Also, its not 50% discount whatsoever, a few hundred quid. Seems terrible value now. Winter is here. AM still plucking figures out the air, automated email is all I've got from them. I think this is my worst customer experience ever & I still dont even have my bike. October is no good to anyone. At least they are giving out refunds, allegedly. Honesty is important & they've tried to blag this. What says it all to me is they are still selling bikes & saying september delivery! That's a big fat lie and they know it. Usual story, 1st bike they made was great, this one was for them to get money. Massively understaffed, punting known lies, just not attributes of a brand I want to be part of in this day and age. On their social media you would think they are Van Moof or someone proper! Real sad but no point in me waiting until 2021 to ride a bike I bought in may and was told I'd receive it in June. Only a few days ago was I told the truth, been lying (withholding truth) this whole time. Hopefully they will do one decent thing & refund me, if I can ever get hold of them of course. Every time I see an AM poster around Hackney I feel physically sick in my stomach haha. I'm glad you managed to fix your bike. Unreal having to do that on such an expensive bike in this day and age. Waiting on mine too, looks like the older model tho (AM1/AM1+). The AMX comes with the carbon belt drive, looks like the one on the vid is a regular chain?

@@FastNumber27 nah great driving mate, it's difficult to get a roadster round a track like that. Really shows the lack of power, on a more handling based circuit pretty sure half those cars would be struggling to keep up 👍

Besser späte Antwort als nie... Das elektrische Signal zum Gangwechsel ist gleich bei Wippen oder dem Schalthebel. Die einfachste Möglichkeit für kürzere Schaltzeiten ist andere Software. Bei Smart ist Motor und Getriebe eine Software, mit einem guten Chiptuning verkürzen sich auch die Schaltzeiten. Wirklich schnell wird es dadurch allerdings auch nicht.

Grimmjow the car has a Chip Tuning, which also affects shift times. I would not call them a lot quicker, but softer and smoother. Since the car learns your driving style and adopts the way it shifts, it helps driving quick before the race for some kilometers.

+Giovanni Luigi Perri Hey Giovanni, the Novitec Kit uses the standard ECU and relies on the standard injectors in the MPI engines. It's really very basic, which is why I would not recommend driving higher pressures than the stock 0,5 bar. Only modification done by Merkur Tuning was removing a litle bit from the top of the pistons to reduce compression.

+MElekiaZ Sorry for the late answering! It depends on what you want to do with your car. For street use it is very nice, a little stiffer, not too low but recognizably lowered. You can still drive long distances without your back falling apart. For serious racing on a plane racetrack it is too soft. I intsalled an Integra sway bar in the front which balanced everything out nicely.

Sorry mate, i kept this car as a toy for the weekends, so it was never fully filled up to save weight. I don't think mileage is too important on one of these, but I remember it being pretty good though. After all, turbocharging an engine increases its efficiency.
